Our vision
A school where every learner has the opportunity to learn, build independence and participate in community life with dignity.
About KSS
Kizzu Special School was created as a bridge between early support and formal schooling—bringing academics, communication, self-regulation, social participation and independence into one connected learning environment.

Why KSS
Moving from early intervention into school can be a major transition. Some children need a smaller group, a different pace and teaching strategies that respond more directly to their learning profile.
Our direction
A school where every learner has the opportunity to learn, build independence and participate in community life with dignity.
Structured education grounded in KSSR Special Education, individualised goals, responsive teaching and values that support character.
What guides us
Every child is a person with strengths, preferences and rights—not a diagnosis or behaviour label.
Clear routines and environments make expectations easier to understand.
Progress can be a new word, a smoother transition, asking for help or completing a routine more independently.
Families and educators share evidence, ask questions and revise plans when needed.
Respect, responsibility, compassion, prayer and good character grow through everyday routines.
Our education model
KSSR Special Education provides the curriculum foundation.
IEP/RPI goals reflect current strengths, barriers and priorities.
Strategies respond to communication, sensory needs, regulation and daily function.
Islamic routines and moral learning are handled respectfully according to the family context.
Wider support pathway
KSS sits within the wider Kizzu Kids pathway, which includes developmental assessment, therapy and early intervention services. That experience shapes how the school thinks about communication, sensory processing, regulation and functional development.
Therapy-informed education means that teaching strategies may be shaped by relevant professional principles. It does not mean every lesson is clinical therapy or every learner receives the same clinical service.
Learners should enter a space that does not require them to become someone else before they can learn.
